About the event

This will be a very easy stroll to look at some of the plants of the valley (such as this Water Forget-me-not, Myosotis scorpioides) up to and around Shepherd Wheel, how they fit into the ecology of the valley, and with a little discussion about Ancient Woodland and how to identify it.

It  will be led by Gerry Firkins; he is a local botanist and has led field meetings and taught plant identification for Sheffield University, WEA  and the RSPB since the 1980s and is now a tutor for the Botanical  Society of the British Isles.

Tickets are free for FoPV members using the emailed discount code and £5 for non-members.
