Thank you to the dedicated band supported by Chris Roberts on today’s workday.
The first task was to remove part of a large fallen tree blocking the footpath above Forge Dam. Chris has called in the tree experts to clear the remaining tree trunk. As John had disappeared in to the boggy wood and was hidden I had to shout to find him then we carried on removing Himalayan Balsam. We were joined by the rest of the group and removed a large area. But not to worry all you Himalayan Balsam pickers a great deal remains to be removed before the seeds spread.
