Well done Chris Roberts, Ziggy and all 20 FoPV volunteers on this morning’s work in the Clough. Brilliant weather, record breaking temperature! Pretty well a record turnout.
Several tasks were achieved: there is now a solid rustic bench tamped into the ground and destined to last 5 years; flooding was abolished from the path by clearance of a French drain and an underground drain; hazel, bramble and holly were cleared away along with some encroaching self sets; litter around the picnic tables was stashed away. You can see where we have been!
Next work morning will be on 14 March at Forge Dam itself.
